San’a’ke ❤️ I don’t remember feeling ‘unfreedom,’ being absolutely thrilled to have finally found what I absolutely KNEW I was looking for all my life and eager to learn, but indeed, I certainly had resistance (another word for unfreedom, to be sure) to deal with, a lot to release, and a lot to learn. I wouldn’t have it any other way and am deeply grateful to be here now as a fellow student continuing to learn and expand, within all that it takes.

I don’t know why exactly, but when I read this quote, I was reminded of something Da Pah Ekara San once said to us years ago: “It’s really simple, guys. Do the opposite of what the mind wants and follow Da Pah Kwan Yin San’s lead.”
