It is no exaggeration to say that Gobekli Tepe is the oldest, largest, and arguably the most mysterious structure in all of human history. Despite its impact on our understanding of human history, and given that only 5% has been excavated, the "powers that be" have chosen to "pass on further excavation to future generations". Wonder who has made this decision in their self-interests for the rest of humanity? Nah, it couldn't be the World Economic Forum, could it? If so, why?
